About Us.
Strom Construction, was founded by Richard Strom in August of 2003. After working in the construction industry for several years, he recognized a need for a more personalized customer experience in the construction and renovation experience. His belief is “that large construction companies can’t give customers the personal experience that a local small business can.” Richard meets with all customers to discuss their projects, creating a shared vision, and is personally involved in the job from start to finish. Richard Strom
Richard Strom has worked in the Construction industry for most of his adult life, gaining experience in every aspect of the trade. A native Rhode Islander, Richard worked for several construction companies before venturing off on his own. Creating Strom Construction from the ground up was no easy task, but Richard was determined to create a successful company. After, being in business for almost 20 years, he is proud of the company’s success and takes pride when past customers call him for their next project. Richard still lives in Rhode Island with his wife and two children.

Kyla Strom
Kyla Strom may not wield the hammer or run the table saw, but she is an integral part of the success of Strom Construction and their customers’ satisfaction. Her business experience, design background and BA in ancient history are the secret of her success running the marketing arm of Strom Construction. Kyla is committed to her role as a wife, and mother to their two children.
